Lost in the jungle, you hear an ominous sound. Something is moving through the undergrowth. Moments later, a tiger emerges from the bush. It looks at you with a snarl and bears it huge teeth and claws. You find yourself face to face with nature's perfect predator. Bad luck for you.
From the artist: This one was a request from my daughter. It was inspired by Shere Khan from the Jungle Book movie. This was the largest animal oil pastel drawing I had created up to this point, and I really liked how much detail I got in the tiger's face.
The original is an 18" x 24" oil pastel and colored pencil drawing on archival quality sanded paper. It was created using Sennelier oil pastels with a bit of detail work using Faber Castell Polychromos colored pencils. It has been sealed using Sennelier fixative for oil pastels. The original will be shipped in a temporary frame for protection.
