Description
A green frog in a sitting on a tree limb tries to crack a smile for his portrait. He's having a little bit of trouble since frogs don't normally smile. So, he has more of a grimace.
For this frog themed artwork, I wanted a rather detailed close-up of the amphibian. However, I didn't like any of the existing frog models in my library. They just didn't hold up when the frog was so prominent in the art. So, I created my own frog model by constructing a virtual sculpture of the frog using Sculptris - a free but rather powerful computer application for creating and painting virtual 3d models.
Thanks for looking!

Daniel, your front gallery page has such a wonderful mix of images.I'm always so drawn to green frogs and lizards ! This is out of this world beautifully done. I'm fascinated by your ingenius technique of creating/sculpting him.And I think he is smiling very nicely indeed for a frog! Superb work. L/F
