"Cowgirl"
A cowgirl sits on the back of her trusty mustang. She wears a dark skirt and a light blouse and a wide brimmed hat. With her rifle resting on her shoulder, she looks at you as if daring you to tell her she should be wearing silly clothes with frills and sequins.
This is actually the same scene that I built for "Cowgirl Autumn" (https://daniel-eskridge.pixels.com/featured/cowgirl-autumn-daniel-eskridge.html) which was my first image to feature a cowgirl, this being my second. For this one, I wanted a more direct view of the woman as well as something that fit better in a wide format. So I put the scene with the horse in profile. For her outfit, I wanted to go with something that was reasonably historically accurate. I based it on actual black and white photos of cowgirls from the late 1800's and early 1900's.
