Artist's Description
During a snowy winter somewhere in the American Wild West, a white buffalo stands on snow covered rocks and looks down at you. It's a freezing cold day, but, though you may be shivering, the bison bull, with his thick coat of white fur, is quite comfortable, though perhaps a bit angry at your presence. The great animal's steamy breath merges with the wintry mists which catches a few of the rays of the morning sun. Behind it, distant pine trees line the horizon beneath a cloudless blue sky.
Returning to one of my favorite subjects: the White Buffalo. I like to do a white buffalo themed artwork every few years to see how my style and technique has evolved. You can check out some of my prior white bisons at the links below:

About Daniel Eskridge
Daniel is a classically trained artist. A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience. Most well-known for his scientific illustrations of prehistoric creatures, he is also accomplished in creating Wild West art, fantasy art, wildlife scenes, and horror illustrations. His works have appeared in magazines and newspapers; the covers of books, albums, and products; and even in a few science and natural history museums.
