In this adventurous scene, a wild west treasure hunter has found a chest of gold. The only problem was that it was guarded by a massive and angry grizzly bear. Now, with chest under one arm, the adventurer rides for his life through a tight rocky gap. Splashing through the small stream that runs through the canyon, his horse gallops desperately as the massive bear follows in pursuit.
I was listening to lots of adventurous sounding movie score music one day, and, while doing so, dreamed up this scene. I actually spend a great deal of time working on the landscape for this one, trying to create a tight canyon that really made it feel as if the treasure hunter might not escape. Getting the lighting right turned out to be tricky through as I wanted just enough angle to the light without the walls creating too much shadow. I'm happy with the way it turned out.
Thanks for looking!
