It's evening in the late summer. One of the pigs has broken out of its pen and has wandered into a wheat field.
This artwork was actually the first pig themed image that I started, but it took a really long time to render (~5 days) so I wound up releasing "Guard Pig" first. Even up close, I really like how the Daz Pig turned out.
Daniel is a classically trained artist. A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience. Most well-known for his scientific illustrations of prehistoric creatures, he is also accomplished in creating Wild West art, fantasy art, wildlife scenes, and horror illustrations. His works have appeared in magazines and newspapers; the covers of books, albums, and products; and even in a few science and natural history museums.
