Perched on a high rocky covered hill, a Native American hunter holds aloft his hunting companion, a large bald eagle. The warrior wears tan hide leggings and moccasins intricately detailed with red, white and blue bead work. He has also decorated his skin with red and brown war paint. The massive eagle is perched on the man's arm, but it spreads its wings, ready to take flight. Behind them, a forested valley stretches to a line of jagged, snow covered, rocky mountains.

I created this image for one of my video tutorials. In it I reused a scene created for "Warrior and Eagle" (DanielEskridge.com/featured/warrior-and-eagle-daniel-eskridge.html) but changed the angle of the model. You can watch the video tutorial on YouTube: https://youtu.be/MbvNbasVRr8

Daniel Eskridge

Daniel is a classically trained artist. A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience. Most well-known for his scientific illustrations of prehistoric creatures, he is also accomplished in creating Wild West art, fantasy art, wildlife scenes, and horror illustrations.
