A woman in a red and black dress walks through a city park carrying a red umbrella, the rain having just stopped on a warm autumn day. The trees are full of red and orange leaves, and the ground is covered with them as well. It's a strange time just as the afternoon gives way to evening: the sun has not quite set but has sunk below the clouds. Its light still hits the tops of the buildings outside the park, but darkness is descending rapidly. The streetlights have all just come on with a glow enhanced by the subtle mists of the wet weather. Something has gotten the woman's attention. As she turns to look, a dark shadow approaches her.

Most of my art usually fits in a particular genre: western, fantasy, wildlife, etc., but sometimes I get in the mood to do something that is just fine art depicting a contemporary subject. Daniel is a classically trained artist. A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience. Most well-known for his scientific illustrations of prehistoric creatures, he is also accomplished in creating Wild West art, fantasy art, wildlife scenes, and horror illustrations. His works have appeared in magazines and newspapers; the covers of books, albums, and products; and even in a few science and natural history museums.
