"Buffalo Grazing"
In this relaxed western scene, a group of North American bison graze in fields of long golden grass. Behind them, majestic snow capped mountains rise into the skies of the American West. These bulls, the vanguard of their herd, have led the way into this grassy field. The lead bull gazes directly at you almost challenging you to interrupt their meal.
I made this image using a variety of digital art techniques including 3D rendering and digital painting.

About Daniel Eskridge
Daniel is a classically trained artist. A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience. Most well-known for his scientific illustrations of prehistoric creatures, he is also accomplished in creating Wild West art, fantasy art, wildlife scenes, and horror illustrations.
