On a cool evening in the wilderness of the American West, smoke drifts from the chimney of a cheerfully lit log cabin nestled among pine trees on the shores of a calm mountain lake. Yet, unbeknownst to the inhabitants of the small Rocky Mountain hideaway, they have a visitor. Across the lake, Bigfoot (also known as Sasquatch) sits among the underbrush resting against a tree. The most popular North American cryptid seems interested in the activity of his neighbors across the water.
From the artist: For this work, I wanted to present a bit of a twist on the usual old log cabin themed artwork. Originally, I had planned to have a fox rather than Bigfoot in the foreground, but I thought it wasn't interesting enough. So, I decided to ramp it up a bit and have Bigfoot hanging out there instead. Once I did this, I really started to like this work.
Thanks for looking!
