Artist's Description

Batsquatch is a legendary creature that is alleged to inhabit the Pacific Northwest in the area of Mount St. Helens. It was first reported in the 1990's and is said to have inahbited the fringes of the deadzone that was created when the volcano erupted. This flying primate was described has having yellow teeth, bluish fur, and, of course, batlike wings. 3D Rendering

I find this to be an interesting addition to my cryptozoology collection which doesn't fit the usual mold of the hairy/wild man legend. Yet this cryptid creature does get its name from the more popular legend of the same area: sasquatch. I tried to depict him in a sort of ruined forest where there is little in the way of living plants, just some undergrowth, as if he's living in the destroyed forests killed by the blast and are just beginning to recover.
