"The Spear Fisher"
It early morning and the sun has just risen. The dawn light glints off the rocks, trees and mountains that surround the dark still waters of a wilderness lake. A Native American man stands on a boulder on the shore of the pristine waters. In one hand, he holds a spear, and in the other a rope attached to that spear. He gazes intentently into the water with a tense stance ready to cast with lightning speed the moment he catches sight of a fish darting beneath the surface.
To create this image I used digital techniques including digital painting and 3d rendering.

About Daniel Eskridge
Daniel is a classically trained artist. A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience. Most well-known for his scientific illustrations of prehistoric creatures, he is also accomplished in creating Wild West art, fantasy art, wildlife scenes, and horror illustrations.
