A woman appears to be placing the moon over the sun in the sky to create a solar eclipse.
Inspired by the recent eclipse, I wanted to see if I could create an eclipse scene. It was a little boring though on its own. So I decided to give the scene a surreal touch.
I created this image using digital art techniques including 3D rendering and digital painting.

Daniel Eskridge
Daniel is a classically trained artist. A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience. Most well-known for his scientific illustrations of prehistoric creatures, he is also accomplished in creating Wild West art, fantasy art, wildlife scenes, and horror illustrations.
