Artist's Description
"Workhorse"
A muscular horse with a chestnut coat and dark mane and tail pulls a heavy wagon atop a grassy hill.
The term "workhorse" refers first and foremost to a horse that does some kind of labor on a farm, but it can also be used to describe a dependable person who does hard work over significant periods of time.
Typically, my horse themed art depicts wild mustangs, but for this one I wanted to go for something a little different: a more muscular, strong looking animal. A wild horse though doesn't really have a reason to have all that strength. So, I created this one as a domestic horse pulling a heavy load.
Thanks for looking,
