A Knight in green armor hunts with his trusty lupine companion. Another entry for my knightly art series, this artwork was really an experiment in compositing. Rather than importing the poser figure into vue for one render, I rendered the knight and the landscape separately then used GIMP to composite them together. The result was that I got greater detail in the armor.
Daniel is a classically trained artist. A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience. Most well-known for his scientific illustrations of prehistoric creatures, he is also accomplished in creating Wild West art, fantasy art, wildlife scenes, and horror illustrations. His works have appeared in magazines and newspapers; the covers of books, albums, and products; and even in a few science and natural history museums.
