"Spirit of the Forest"

A very large wolf peers at you through the darkness of the dense forest. As the animals yellow eyes meet yours, he stares back at you from shore of a dark forest pond. Ferns cover the ground around his feet and moss covered trees surround him. A shaft of light breaks through the dense canopy of the woods to illuminate the wolf.

This is my first test of a new wolf model. So far, I'm rather liking it.

To create this image, I took a snapshot of a virtual 3d environment then applied digital painting techniques.
