Artist's Description
"November Refugee"
A wild turkey struts through tall grass in the late autumn. He fans out his tail as if he has nothing to fear...now that Thanksgiving is over and he is still alive (I guess he hasn't heard of Christmas Turkey). Behind him, trees with the red and yellow leaves of fall line the field. Overhead, the sky is full of clouds as the early evening sun turns the skies a faded orange.
Today is Thanksgiving. I didn't think that I'd have time to make any art, but with the day off and no long distance travel necessary this year, I found that I had a chance to make this image of what I beleive is one of the strangest looking birds.
This image was made using digital Techniques.
Thanks for looking,
