Description
Once upon a time, a green dragon flew over the countryside. Spotting an isolated farm at the edge of a forest. He decided to swoop in and devour all the live stock. He landed in the middle of a grassy field next to the farm and began to stalk over to the animal pens. However, as he came to a pile of boulders in the midst of the field, he found himself face to face with an angry looking pig standing firm on top of the rocks.
The pig made no sound. It only stood there, an expression of defiance on its face. The dragon knew that that it could devour the pig in one gulp, and he assumed the pig was aware of that fact as well. The dragon snarled at the pig, expecting it to run off squealing. Yet the pig stood firm.
The dragon shrugged and was about to open its mouth to eat the foolish animal, but then something occurred to it: perhaps the pig was not a fool. Maybe it knew something the dragon didn't The dragon glanced left and right, searching the field and forest beyond for any surprises. He didn't see anything, but the grass was long and the trees thick. Someone could easily be hidden.
The dragon gave the pig one more chance. He growled at it, but now he was less sure he would scare it off. Indeed, the pig only snorted in response, never looking away from the dragon.
Another though occurred to the dragon: perhaps this pig was bait, and dragon hunters where hidden all around. Now the dragon, was becoming truly worried. He looked this way and that, but saw no hunters. He looked back to the pig. Somehow it seemed to have gotten bigger, but perhaps the dragon had just lowered his head.
Suddenly, the pig gave an angry grunt and stomped its hoofs. That was enough. The dragon decided that there was something not right about this situation and leapt into the air and flew away to search for a meal elsewhere. Meanwhile, the pig hopped down from the boulders and trotted back to the farm.

So, this artwork is actually something I started a decade ago. I had never finished it and had forgotten about it until I unearthed it while cleaning my hard drive. I updated it with what I'd learned in those ten years and finished it up. I rather like the results.
Thanks for looking,
Daniel
