Artist's Description
A little brown lizard scampers over some stone.
From the artist: I was camping with my family and was sitting by a stone fire pit relaxing when I saw a small lizard scurrying over the rocks. I decided he wanted to pose for one of my oil pastel drawings. This one is a bit different from my usual pastel works in that I did it from life in an under an hour rather than spending weeks making it.
My drawing is actually quite a bit larger than the acutual size of the lizard who was only about two inches long.
I created the original using Van Gogh brand oil pastels on a 9"x12" piece of watercolor paper.
