Description
In this impressionist artwork a red fox stands on the banks of a stream looking down into the water on an autumn day. Poking its head out of the water looking back at him is a large turtle.
Foxes generally give me a lot of trouble in art. For some reason, about 90% just don't turn out well and I wind up deleting them. This one was an image I originally created as a detailed render, but I though that the elements of the scene just didn't work together well, but it wasn't so bad that I would throw it out. So I kept it in a folder of unpublished works. A few years later, while working with Topaz Impression 2, I decided to see how this would look if I coverted it into an impressionist painting. The result was a scene that I thought looked like a much more vibrant and cohesive work of art.
