Artist's Description
A red tree stands out among the other trees on the shore of a deep blue lake. The tree is a bald cypress, a deciduous tree that grows in the southern U.S. This image is a digitally enhanced photo that I took while visiting the Chattahoochee Nature Center in Roswell, Georgia in early autumn. The photo has been altered to appear like an Impressionist painting.
About Daniel Eskridge
Daniel is a classically trained artist. A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience. Most well-known for his scientific illustrations of prehistoric creatures, he is also accomplished in creating Wild West art, fantasy art, wildlife scenes, and horror illustrations. His works have appeared in magazines and newspapers; the covers of books, albums, and products; and even in a few science and natural history museums.
