Artist's Description
Under the deep blue fall skies, the Toccoa river flows through the the brightly colored trees of early autumn in northern Georgia in this impressionist scene.
I made this artwork based on a photo I took while trout fishing in the Hogback Bend area of the Toccoa river on the first day of October in 2020. This point is a bit downriver from the dam that forms Blue Ridge lake. It's a popular spot not only for fishing, but also for kayaks and canoes as well.

About Daniel Eskridge
Daniel is a classically trained artist. A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience. Most well-known for his scientific illustrations of prehistoric creatures, he is also accomplished in creating Wild West art, fantasy art, wildlife scenes, and horror illustrations.
