Artist's Description

A saber tooth cat with long fur emerges from from the fog on a snowy winter day. This is smilodon fatalis, the best known of all saber toothed big cats.  It lived during the last ice age, the Pleistocene era, in the Americas. 3D Rendering.

Saber-tooths are one of my favorite paleo critters. I've depicted quite a few of them before, but I still get the itch to create a new one every few months.

Thanks for checking out my art,
Daniel
