Artist's Description
"Skies Over the Gulf"
Clouds drift lazily over the dark waters of the Gulf of Mexico. From the unseen beach, a pair of kites fly as tiny specks on a stage of dramatic skies. Off in distance lighting forks down from a summer time storm out over the seas.
This is an enhanced photo that I took while at Orange Beach, Alabama in June of 2017. It was a beautiful day on the Gulf beaches, so I snapped a picture. Later I loaded it up on my computer and used Topaz Impression () to give it a look of an impressionist painting with some visible brushstrokes. I also used GIMP (GNU Image Processor) to enhance the values in the clouds some and to add the storm out over the sea.
Thanks for looking!
