"Blue Eyes and Big Teeth"

A saber-toothed cat stalks through tall grass beneath a cloudy sky. This prehistoric beast looks right at you with a menacing glare. Such a close-up view of this big cat would be terrifying in reality.

It's been a while since I've done some saber tooth paleoart, I felt it was time for a new artwork depicting on of the extict hunters. I've given this one a jaguar like coat of fur and piercing blue eyes. I'm not sure if it is accurate, but it makes for intersting art.

About how I create my artwork:

Rather than traditional forms of art such as painting or photography, I use a computer to create my images. It's called 3D Rendering and works like so: I make a scene by sculpting and arranging digital models in a virtual 3D space. After stipulating lighting and atmospheric effects, I have the computer create a simulated environment from which I take a virtual snap shot of the scene. A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience.
