In this surreal landscape scene, a snow covered road runs among ancient stone ruins that are so old, they look almost like natural rock. The low walls to the sides on the approach to the broken remains are overgrown with plants. Beyond the last remnants and rubble of this forgotten civilization, the pathway vanishes into dream-like clouds.

Daniel is a classically trained artist. A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience. Most well-known for his scientific illustrations of prehistoric creatures, he is also accomplished in creating Wild West art, fantasy art, wildlife scenes, and horror illustrations. His works have appeared in magazines and newspapers; the covers of books, albums, and products; and even in a few science and natural history museums.
