"Hamming It Up"
Standing with their forelegs resting on the upper rail of a rustic wooden fence, three swine, a spotted pig, a pink pig, and a Hampshire pig make goofy faces at the viewer. These three silly sows consider themselves to be quite a comedic team. So, they spend all day hogging the patch of grass where the farmer's field is closest to the road, just waiting to put on their show for any passers-by to entertain. Though they think they are funny, they are really just a bunch of hams.
About how I create my artwork:
Rather than traditional forms of art such as painting or photography, I use a computer to create my images., It's called 3D Rendering and works like so: I make a scene by sculpting and arranging digital models in a virtual 3D space., After stipulating lighting and atmospheric effects, I have the computer create a simulated environment from which I take a virtual snap shot of the scene., Then, using image editing software and somethin...
Daniel is a classically trained artist. A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience. Most well-known for his scientific illustrations of prehistoric creatures, he is also accomplished in creating Wild West art, fantasy art, wildlife scenes, and horror illustrations.
