A Happy looking giant panda looks back at you. In a bright, sunny forest setting, this bear, endemic to China, sits at the edge of a small pond.
From the artist: Most of my oil pastel works tend to have a dark background in them, but for this one, I was in the mood to go for something more bright and happy.

The original is 18” x 24” on archival quality sanded paper. It was made using professional grade Sennelier oil pastels, and Faber Castell Polychromos colored pencils. It has been fixed with 5 coats of Sennelier fixative for oil pastels so that it can be displayed without glass. The fixative adds a slight gloss. The original ships in a temporary frame.
