A wild horse trots over a grassy hill in the wilderness of the American West. It's a breezy day and the mustang's mane and tail whip in the wind as it makes it's way through the golden grass of the prairie. A few fir trees rise up in the background beneath a sky that has a few big clouds drifting in.
This particular horse image is actually something that I put together for a larger work: "The Three Warriors" (https://daniel-eskridge.pixels.com/featured/warrior-horses-in-war-paint-daniel-eskridge.html). However, I liked his pose and attitude so much. that I decided this horse needed his own stand-alone piece.

Daniel Eskridge
Daniel is a classically trained artist. A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience. Most well-known for his scientific illustrations of prehistoric creatures, he is also accomplished in creating Wild West art, fantasy art, wildlife scenes, and horror illustrations.
