In a dense forest, on the rocky shore of a hidden pond sits an old oak. A ray of sunlight has broken through the leafy canopy and shines down onto the tree. Like the rocks and ground around it, the gnarled trunk is covered in green moss. From behind one of the tree's twisted roots a small fern peeks over as if brought out of hiding by the sunshine.
Daniel is a classically trained artist. A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience. Most well-known for his scientific illustrations of prehistoric creatures, he is also accomplished in creating Wild West art, fantasy art, wildlife scenes, and horror illustrations. His works have appeared in magazines and newspapers; the covers of books, albums, and products; and even in a few science and natural history museums.
