For this artwork, I wanted that hunt themed painting look to it with lots of earth tones in the art. Originally, this was just a Moose picture but I added the squirrel for a bit of humor. Again I used one of my favorite settings, that of a misty forest.
This image was created in September of 2010. The animals were posed using Poser 6 then imported into Vue 8 where the rest of the scene was generated. Post production was done using GIMP.
Daniel is a classically trained artist. A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience. Most well-known for his scientific illustrations of prehistoric creatures, he is also accomplished in creating Wild West art, fantasy art, wildlife scenes, and horror illustrations. His works have appeared in magazines and newspapers; the covers of books, albums, and products; and even in a few science and natural history museums.
