She is often depicted as a figure of dread and evil.
In some stories, she is depicted as carrying a sickle, which is a tool used for cutting grass or reaping crops. The sickle is often used as a symbol of death and the passage of time in literature and art. It is also associated with the idea of reaping what one has sown, or facing the consequences of one's actions.
