Kaprosuchus is often referred to as the "boar croc" due to its boar like tusks. These tusks protruded from the lower jaw and were likely used for hunting or in combat with other members of its species. This feature sets it apart from modern crocodilians, which do not possess such tusks.

Kaprosuchus also had a more terrestrial lifestyle compared to its aquatic relatives. Its limb anatomy suggests that it was well-adapted for movement on land, making it a formidable predator of its time. Despite its crocodilian lineage, Kaprosuchus's adaptations indicate a lifestyle that was more similar to that of large terrestrial predators than to the aquatic lifestyle of modern crocodiles and alligators.

Daniel is a classically trained artist. A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience.
