Just Missed Canvas Print

On a misty winter day in the wilderness of the American west, a wildlife chase takes place. In a spray of kicked up snow, a cougar tries to pounce on a hare, but his intended pray is too quick. The sprite jackrabbit dashes away, while the big cat, its claws outstretched, looks upon the little animal with hunger and frustration.

From the artist: for this scene I wanted to create a lot of action an motion. In addition to giving the animals really active poses and adding lots of kicked up snow, I also made the background extra foggy in order to obscure any natural elements that might give a sense of stillness.
