As the dawn sun rises over the plains of the American Wild West, a powerful horse gallops across the scene.Ā Covered in Native American war paint, this grullo coated stallion runs fast over the golden grass of the prairie.Ā The wind blows through this animal'sĀ dark mane and tail.Ā In the background, clouds fill the sky catching the morning light.Ā A small rain shower can be seen breaking in the distance.
I was experimenting with a different coat for this one.Ā It's a bit more subtle than the pinto and roan coats I usually work with, but I think it still shows off the war paint quite well.
The meanings behind the markings:
Lines on its face represent victories in battle.
For keen senses, it has the sun painted around its eye and circles around its nostrils.
Because it has pushed a person over, the horse has hand prints on its chest.
The blue circles are hail to rain down upon enemies.
The arrow on its neck is a sign of victory.
