Description
A great blue heron wades in a coastal forested wetland. Sun shines through the leaves of the trees illuminates the mists that rise from the water. Fallen moss covered trees and ferns fill the background behind the bird.
I had a request to create an artwork featuring a great blue heron. I liked the idea, so I went ahead and made this. These birds are rather common in the lakes around where I live and they are always fun to watch.
