Description
A young woman, left alone on the plains by the death of her husband, is out feeding her pig on her family farm. As she stands in the pigpen, grain bucket in hand, she catches a glimpse of a shadow in the distance. Looking up she sees a silhouette of a rider coming her way...trouble on the horizon. Even the pig looks up from its muddy pen and gazes towards the approaching figure. The widow draws her gun, ready to let her colt revolver send a greeting to the ominous stranger.
I was in the mood to do another Wild West themed work. This time, I was really into getting those deep earth tones for the color. The mud was rather fun to do.

Absolutely stunning one of my favorites so far. Almost looks like a film still. The rider on the brow of the hill really adds menace.f/v
