Description
A black horse stands on a weedy, rocky hillside looking out at a crescent moon over a forested horizon. A wind blows through the animals black mane and tail while a few clouds drift lazily in the dusk sky. In the background, the evening mists are beginning to rise among the trees.
The Friesian horse is a breed of horse that originally comes from a part of the Netherlands called Friesland. They are known for their large size and grace but especially for their black coat. This dark horse is actually the kind that I get the most requests for.
To create this image, I used digital art techniques including 3D rendering (a type of CGI), and digital painting.
Thanks for looking!
