Friesian Horse and Approaching Storm

Description
A black coated Friesian horse stands on a grassy hill side as a menacing storm rolls in. Lightning cracks and thunder roars as the storm winds blow through the dark mane and tail of the horse. The mists of the fallen rain obscure the fir trees of the forest in the background.
For this artwork, I was mainly interested in creating a black and blue theme. Of course, I included a lot of the elements that recur in my work: wind, storms, lightning and fog. I guess I really like my work to have a sense of weather.
Thanks for looking,
Daniel Eskridge
