Friesian Poster

"Friesian"

A black coated Friesian horse stands atop a hill. Descended from the war horses of medieval Europe, it faces proudly into the wind. It raises its legs in a high confident gait as if it is just pausing for a moment in mid-journey over the hill. A wind blows through the animals black mane and tail while a few clouds drift lazily in the dusk sky.

To create this image, I used digital art techniques including 3D rendering(CGI), and digital painting.

Daniel is a classically trained artist. A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience. Most well-known for his scientific illustrations of prehistoric creatures, he is also accomplished in creating Wild West art, fantasy art, wildlife scenes, and horror illustrations.
