Description
A red fox emerges from behind the gnarled, mossy trunk an old oak tree in a dense misty forest.
Foxes make for good artwork. They come off as one of those animals that are symbolic of wildlife in temperate areas. They also have a great deal of cultural symbolism often representing cleverness and trickery. From a compositional standpoint, their red and orange coats contrast well with natural backgrounds and draw the eye of the viewer.
I've done some fox themed artwork before, but it has been a while. So, I decided to try a new one.

Daniel, This gloriously colored fox and the natural surroundings are so appealing to my eyes. All of your work that I have seen (and I have seen a lot & commented) is so very well done. The 3-D effects are stunning. I like the tree trunk with moss, the grass, the trees in the background and of course this beautiful fox emerging. This is another of your many masterpieces. Thanks for gracious and insightful comments about my collage. F/V

Wonderful!!! How do I say this...your work is always so much more than what I see...what does the fox see...I always want to know more. :) fv
