Artist's Description
An illustration that I did for the novel "Blades & Axes" by Clinton Earl Jarvis.
From the author:
Amdafinnor, the ancient Prince Dragon, who lives in the royal castle...leapt from the mantle above the fireplace and took flight.
He swooped over the heads of some of the knights in audience of his story, to land gently on the table some fifteen feet away. On the table sits a plentifully full platter of sausages. The knight sitting at the table looks at him, Finn smiles... (Chapter 22, Page 339)
Having lived for thousands of years, this 'Prince Dragon' is the wisest of all the characters involved in the book "Blades & Axes"; the first in the "Birth of Legends" series. Read about him, along with all of the other characters in his life.
