Elf and Unicorn in a Forest Canvas Print

Formal Title: "Companions in the Enchanted Forest"

Lost in the deep forest, you come across a magical sight. You find yourself facing two beings of fantasy and legend. The sun shines down on an elven woman in a flowing purple gown who is trying to calm her companion, a white unicorn with a spiral horn. Your presence seems to have agitated the mystical animal as it rears up and turns its head towards you. The elf, too, looks in your direction as if startled by you presence. Look quick before they vanish among the trees.

From the artist: I hike quite a lot. However in the Georgia summer, the sun can really bear down. So, I tend to find trails that are particularly shady and cool in dense forests. This work was inspired by one of those summer hikes where I happened across a sunny spot one afternoon where there was still a bit of mist after a light rain.

A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience.
