A black and orange dimetrodon, a prehistoric sail-backed creature that predates the dinosaurs, climbs over a pile of boulders and bears its teeth. 3D Rendering.
The dimetrodon has always been one of my favorite prehistoric animals, ever since I first saw it watching the second season of Land of the Lost as a child. Though, of course, I that one was especially cool because it breathed fire :D.
The real dimetrodon was a synapsid, a prehistoric reptile that was more closely related to modern day mammals that dinosaurs. Its most notable feature is the sail on its back.

About Daniel Eskridge
Daniel is a classically trained artist. A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience.
