where music from the grave brings on a trance.
The bones of jesters hop and spin
and glance at you with a skeleton grin.
Beneath the full moon they've set a trap
to lure more fools into an unending nap.
A circle of skulls lies at their feet
around a flickering fire that gives off no heat.
Those victims who came to hear them play
listened too much and are there to stay.
Beware odd tunes on an Autumn night
else the Dead Fool's Dance be your last sight.
Daniel is a classically trained artist. A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience. Most well-known for his scientific illustrations of prehistoric creatures, he is also accomplished in creating Wild West art, fantasy art, wildlife scenes, and horror illustrations. His works have appeared in magazines and newspapers; the covers of books, albums, and products; and even in a few science and natural history museums.
