Artist's Description

A demonic god from a forgotten age stands on rocks in a stormy sea highlighted by lightning.

This was an illustration I put together on a whim one day, it makes me think a bit of the kind of artwork you might find on the cover of a heavy metal album. I've read a good bit of H.P. Lovecrafts works and always rather liked them. By modern standards, they seem to be more science fiction rather than horror.

Daniel Eskridge

Daniel is a classically trained artist. A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience. Most well-known for his scientific illustrations of prehistoric creatures, he is also accomplished in creating Wild West art, fantasy art, wildlife scenes, and horror illustrations. His works have appeared in magazines and newspapers; the covers of books, albums, and products; and even in a few science and natural history museums.
