Description

A polar bear charges at you. Its powerful snapping jaws a opens in a great roar as it barrels towards you kicking up snow in every direction. Meanwhile, snow falls from the dark clouds of the Northern skies in this digitally created impressionist image of the fiercest carnivore of the Arctic.

I made this using digital CGI and painting techniques. The bear was posed in Daz Studio then exported to Vue for rendering. The snow scene was made in Vue as well. I used GIMP, Photomatix, and Topaz Impression to do the post production work.
