"Charging Knight"

A knight on his war horse charges over hill at dawn. As if god is on his side, a storm rolls across the sky behind him with lightning striking the distance.

The knight wears a bucket helm and a mail coat covered by a red and black tabard. He holds aloft his sword as he rides. His dark grey horse also wears some mail armor as it gallops over the weed chocked ground.

I had not created a knight themed scene in some time and decided with the New Year that I might revisit the subject.

I made this scene using 3d rendering (CGI) techniques as well as some digital painting techniques.
