A fearsome bison bull charges out of the mist. Blowing steam and kicking up dust, he is headed right at you. In the grassy prairie, there is nowhere to hide. You'd best turn and run.
As the last of the Pleistocene mega fauna, I find that the North American Bison (sometimes called the American Buffalo) can be quite an intimdating animal, even on the other side of a fence. I've done several bison works, and this one is a follow up to my "Thunderbeast" ( http://daniel-eskridge.artistwebsites.com/featured/thunderbeast-daniel-eskridge.html ) artwork that featured a bison in profile.
