In this artwork, a couple of carnotaurs are settling a territorial dispute. The Carnotaurus was a large theropod dinosaur that lived in South America during the late Cretaceous period. One of the things that make it unique are the bull like horns on its head. In fact, its name means �meat eating bull�.
The carnotaurus model is by Dinoraul. I posed them using Poser. The rest of the scene was constructed in Vue. Final rendering was also done in Vue. Post production was done in GIMP.
Daniel is a classically trained artist. A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience. Most well-known for his scientific illustrations of prehistoric creatures, he is also accomplished in creating Wild West art, fantasy art, wildlife scenes, and horror illustrations. His works have appeared in magazines and newspapers; the covers of books, albums, and products; and even in a few science and natural history museums.
